Since 2011, The Legend Series has dazzled Northeast Florida with pop-up dinner events that showcase the best of our area’s culinary, visual, musical and performing arts. Events are held in unexpected locations like parking garages, abandoned buildings – even cemeteries – and the location, entertainment, menu and theme for the each event remain secret until the day of the dinners. Grassroots marketing tactics and strategic community partnerships have ensured each event sells out in mere seconds. In 2015, our principal Cari was awarded the Arts Innovator honor by the Cultural Council of Greater Jacksonville for breaking new ground and elevating Jacksonville's culinary culture through The Legend Series.
The George Doro Fixtures Company was established in 1919 and operated as a family-owned business making architectural millwork for nearly a century. Iconic Real Estate Investments recently purchased the property and intends to rehabilitate as many of the original buildings as possible. We're working with them to help establish a comprehensive brand and regional presence for the mixed use development that facilitates an atmosphere of community engagement and allows for innovative placemaking to further activate downtown Jacksonville. Once complete, this complex will transform the corner of Bay Street and A. Philip Randolph into an epicenter for culinary, cultural and artistic creativity by embracing tenants who will be catalysts to redevelop and reimagine the area.
Intuition Ale Works
As one of the first employees and general manager of Intuition Ale Works, Cari focused on brand identity, creative marketing strategies, communications, community engagement and special event planning for this groundbreaking local craft brewery.
Since the brewery opened in 2010, the craft beer industry in Jacksonville has become a source of local cultural pride and a shining star of the region’s economic development. Intuition gained statewide notoriety by being the first craft brewery in Florida to offer their products in cans, and played a major role in kicking off a local craft beer culture that is helping give an identity to Jacksonville.
King Street Farmers Market
We co-founded King Street Farmers Market in order to activate a previously vacant lot on King Street and provide a forum for farmers and other local food businesses to sell their products during the week.
